Summer and winter crop planting

Ag & Hire provides summer and winter crop planting across North West NSW, with experienced operators and equipment suited to your crop, soil conditions and sowing window.

For winter crops, choose a 24m NDF single-disc planter paired with an 18,500L Gyral air cart, or a 12m Boss single-disc planter with a Simplicity air cart. Both options run on 15-inch row spacing. Variable rate technology is available across all our winter and summer crop planters, allowing application rates to suit your planting plan.

For cotton and sorghum planting, our 12m Boss DX50 summer crop planter is fitted with Precision Planting DeltaForce, CleanSweep, vDrive, SpeedTube and FurrowForce, plus liquid fertiliser. This setup supports accurate seed placement and consistent establishment, with 1.5m row spacing or 1m rows in single-skip and double-skip configurations.

Our self-sufficient planting package includes a truck, chaser bins for loading and fuel trailers to support the job. We work through seed, fertiliser, access and timing requirements with you before getting started.
